“Not to be missed!”
Wow, what a superb experience! With a nature reserve guide with us throughout our visit, this was one of the highlights of our tour. Taken by boat to the reserve, we then had great fun travelling by trailer to the top of the hill, followed by a fairly easy walk back down. The views were breathtaking and the guides were very helpful and knowledgeable - they obviously love the place, and quite rightly so! Optional, slightly more adventurous 'side-routes' were available on the way down, one to a higher view point and the other down to a sea cave, but these were also fairly easy to do. Lunch was a superb buffet, sitting at tables under milkwood trees. Loved it and would highly recommend this experience.

“A must trip whilst in Knysna”
This was a really great trip. A short ferry ride over to the Featherbed Nature Reserve was followed by a bus ride up to the top. Views during the walk back down are spectacular. This is then followed by a very good buffet lunch and then the ferry back. All in all great value for money

“If you going to see the Heads, this is the only way to do it....”
Instead of just cruising in the lagoon, getting off the Featherbed, onto the unimog and going up to the top for lunch is the best way to see the Heads. To me, this is the only way to do it. I have been on the John Benn twice which is enjoyable and the food is great, but getting off and walking around at the top of the Heads is magical.

“Gorgeous Views and Scenery”
Our tour guide was Helen and I just loved her accent. We took trolley cars up the hill and the views were spectacular. I didn't chicken out so I did the hike back down. They gave us walking sticks and I felt like Moses on the mountain :-)
If you are into photography then you have to visit for the views. Gorgeous. Our meal was too die for as well. I had the best dessert. It was a cake that tasted like rum with ice cream. Delish. Highly recommend Featherbed Nature Reserve!

“Great walk with wonderful views”
Our tour guide recommended this walk. At first we were sceptical but when we caught the tractor to the top of the headland we changed our minds. What a magnificent view. We walked back down to the lagoon passing animals, beautiful scenery and knowledgeable guides. Topped off by a great buffet lunch. What a fabulous day
